Although some certified
computer addicts admittedly go gaga over broadband Internet, there are still business and personal users who look at the brighter side of dial-up service. Most business wanderlust and small and medium business employees are still inclined to DSL. Residences that are aloof from pivotal offices or with naive cable systems do enjoy its service.
Despite the growing
broadband mania, many Internet users are unable to have access on it, geographically, financially and technologically. This simply means that broadband still hasn't dampen nor shroud the ministration that DSL gives. As a matter of fact, I do think that digital subscriber line is here to stay, and that isn't going to change soon.
The current standard speed of dial-up is 56k bps which maybe quite slow to download huge audio files, procure complicated video images, and hold cutting-edge e-commerce. Some say that unless we use access to global high speed, the evolution of the Internet to its maximum potential and highest powers will never be realized and its aid in the growth of the economy might perish. But I think otherwise. Broadband Internet makes your PC weak from
attacks of hackers. Even if you think its safe having a firewall installed, spyware and malware files can still sneak into your system and ruin your network. DSL might make your computing work slower but at least you still have the assurance that your documents are still safe when you switch your PC first thing in the morning.
